Carrabelle, Florida is a town built around the Carrabelle River. It has been a hub for shipping since the mid-1800s and is now an enjoyable spot for Florida saltwater fishing, fly fishing, and beach fishing.

Dog Island, a barrier island, is just off the coast and is just east of St. George Island. Both St. George and Dog Island create protection from the Gulf and have some great fishing action in their areas. Carrabelle has several launch points where our guides operate. Carrabelle is known for some good areas for tarpon sight fishing.

Shallow Water Expeditions Guide Service is based out of Old Florida Outfitters, the exclusive outfitter located in the Watercolor Resort. Strategically positioned between Destin and Panama City Beach, along the beautiful Beaches of South Walton, we can be found fishing 30A and the entire North Florida Gulf Coast.
